I don't wanna do my homework right now, so could someone maybe do this for me please? Thank you!

2.14x - 12.18 = -5.76

Work has to me shown - it is a two-step equation.
I'm in 9th, so it might be easy for most of you.

2.14x - 12.18 = -5.76

or, 2.14x = -5.76+12.18
or, 2.14x = 6.42
or, x = 6.42/2.14
or, x = 3

BTW, do they really teach these things in 9th? I mean, we learned these things when we were in 5th.

I struggle with math, I am not at the level I am supposed to be on. I am in advanced Language Arts and Social Studies though :P
