This probably doesn't matter anymore...Regarding lockerz accusing users of fraud

Heya,

This probably isn't of use anymore, with the shitty new prices for things. Finally removed my lockerz bookmark, which had been there for roughly a year.

On June 13th I ordered Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker from them for around 4k ptz. I was hoping on playing it during my vacation with went from July 4th-24th. Of course, my hopes were crushed.

I waited a few days after I ordered and then sent them an email asking on the status of my order. They reply three days later (email sender was "Anna via RT") and accuse me of cheating. Now I know everyone says this but my account was completely legit. I'd been a member since around they made their shitty site. Anyways, this was the email:

Your prize order was canceled because our fraud team found account activity
that violates our Terms of Use. Feel free to review those terms here
http://www.lockerz.com/terms for further clarification.Our aim is to build an
online community based on respect. Cheating is not fair to other members who
earn their PTZ legitimately, and is not in line with our goal for a respectful
community. We will be taking away the PTZ associated with this purchase as a
penalty. This is a final decision and is non-negotiable. Additionally, any
pending PTZ that were earned as a result will be cancelled.


However, we believe in second chances here at Lockerz, so we’d like to offer
you one. As long as you keep your account activity clean moving forward, you
are welcome to make future purchases.

So yeah, I'm pretty mad. I'd only got one crappy Wii game from them in September, plus they canceled my PS3 order in that Z-List only redemption because of an error on their part. So I email them again and ask them to tell me how I cheated. I get this:

I'm very sorry,

I accidentally sent you the wrong message. Your package is ready to be shipped!
We really do appreciate your patience with us - SHOP is new and we're still
working out some kinks! I apologize again,

So yeah, I'm feeling a lot better. Then I realize it's been over two weeks since I ordered and all I've got out of it is accused of cheating/clearing the order. So then I email again and they say to wait 17 business days for it to ship(automated response from "Kai via RT"). My vacation was nearing quite fast and so I email them again so that they'd receive the email on the 17th business day (they've replied to all of my messages three days after I sent them) and they said to wait 10-17 business days... >>

I email a few days later and they say that shipping time is typically 7-14 days for after it leaves the warehouse. No help at all.

So yeah, my vacation rolls around and my order hasn't even cleared for shipping. Then I have the thought that it's likely to ship soon and be at my doorstep for a few weeks and some guy will rob the house when he realized the package just sits there every day. ;_;

So I check my email in Michigan and I get an email from lockerz saying:

Dear,

Thanks for your support of Lockerz. We've checked in to the status of your order, and unfortunately, because of inventory shortages, your item has been backordered. You'll receive a shipping confirmation and tracking number as soon as your item ships.

They gave my a 25 ptz compensation...woo-fucking-ooo.

Anyways, it shipped a week later and it was on my doorstep for about five days till I got it. Game was inside and works.

So I guess the point of this post is that if they accuse you of cheating, try to fight it. They have multiple people read the emails and some are more fucked up than others so if you get an email saying you cheated and can't change that, just send another email a day or two later asking for your order's status. It's worth a shot.

Well, this is likely the last topic I'll ever post about lockerz. For people like me who joined when they first were popular, it's been roughly a year and if you remember in their terms, they said that ptz you earn are removed a year after they are earned. Seems pretty pointless to continue.

they just don't respond to your e-mails trying to fight. no point. lockerz fail. at least i got bunch of stuff out of em when they first launched.

I've emailed them multiple times about my order being canceled and i haven't relieved a response in more then 2 weeks.

I swear those fucking douchebag video guys accuse you of cheating and steal your prize...im not even kidding

They canceled my Ptz Place order and my Shop orders in June. I e-mailed them about it and they said they would refund the Shop orders which was about 8k worth of stuff but now it means nothing since they jacked up the Shop prices. I wish they would have sent my stuff instead of an almost worthless refund. If I don't get anything good in the next redemption I'm quitting for good.
