Ok, from now on this thread will be updated to show the most current info we have about Lockerz/future restocks/new stuff/etc.

So as of now, here is what we know about Lockerz in general:

1) OFFICIAL LAUNCH IS NOW MID NOVEMBER (Kathy said this in a recent email I sent her, said the launch was delayed again)
2) The site will ALWAYS BE INVITE-ONLY (confirmed by Kathy)
3) Z-lister status will last 12 months from the day you get it
4) PTZ expire 12 months AFTER you get them, just like z-lister (NOT each year on 12/31 like they initially said)
5) Next restock will be sometime in November, but we're not sure yet
6) They will be trying some sort of new redemption system for the November restock - no word on wtf that means yet

Advisory board members:

Congratulations to Lockerz' new global advisory board. We've extended invitations to more than 200 members (out of more than 6,000 email applications) across the globe to partner with the Lockerz team over the next twelve months to build the best social network on the web for music, video, shopping, games, messaging friends and earning amazing prizes and discounts with Lockerz PTZ. Thing is, she's right. Of COURSE people are going to want an iPod/PSP/anything electronic over a stupid purse/watch/makeup kit.

I just really hope they restock at LEAST once before then. Because if not, then good fucking luck just handling the traffic that day, let alone trying to actually redeem a prize...

She said they gave out 12,000 prizes...it's been confirmed that lockerz has 300,000+ members (more now most likely). Let's say that 1/3 of them are american, so 100,000. That means 12% of people actually got something. But, it's actually less than that since I've heard of multiple people getting 2,3,4, even 5 prizes.

I emailed her and suggested that they should have a Pre order type of thing or waiting list. Or only allowing someone to redeem every 3-5 restocks. She replied with pretty much the same thing:

"PTZ Place is the prize redemption portion of a much larger site (Lockerz) that is launching later this Fall. PTZ can and will be used for prizes after launch but also big discounts on cool items to buy, unique concert and event experiences, game tester opportunities, music and video downloads and more.

Members redeemed more than 15,000 items last night and there are still prizes available on the site including skateboards, fashion bags, iskins, accessories and more.

We understand that MANY people wanted specific game titles, the iTouch or a particular bundle but depsite quadrupling the number we had in August, those most popular items redeemed quickly.

The concept is NOT one Ipod for every member but rather, earning PTZ for building a community that you can ultimately use to get cool prizes, get huge discounts on stuff you love to buy and access to exclusive music, games and videos before anyone else (that you get from you Z-list status or PTZ)."

Anyways, more good news: PTZ wont raise for 10/15 restock.

IDK, it seems like they didn't expect this big of a response so now they're like "well guise, the point of lockerz isn't for ya'll to make us go broke it's for ya'll to make us rich...so fuck off and order a bunch of shitty iphone skins".

Same! Except i guarantee you that at least 10-20 thousand people are z listers so it wouldn't change much!

oh one quick question if the site is targeted at teens and young adults then how are we suppose to use the discount lol most kids don't have access to a credit or debit card
oh and I believe the price of ptz will go up again cause last time they said it and psp price went up

That was 1 item though. Everything else stayed the same, and if you ask me PTZ values are still reasonable. 1000 PTZ for a $1000 laptop? Seems fair to me.

PS3/360 games are a bit high, but TBH everything else seems fair to me.
