So, I was watching this show earlier, and in the show a bunch of crazy people stumble onto the truth. Now they are all like UFO believers in aliens and everything. But, what they find out is 100% truth. And the whole show they debate about what to do with it, so they setup a press conference to announce the truth. But, what happens is the government(ones supposedly hiding the truth) infilitrate their group of people and go on national tv and say everything they are saying is true, 100% true, and its a coverup. Then someone shoots the guy. But after the whole deal the media comes in and pretty much calls them crazy and are more focused on why someone would shoot the guy. Well, it turns out it was a setup and the guy is fine. He sits up in the ambulance and is all, now no one will ever believe anything they says and the truth is buried forever.
So, basicaly what they did was made everyone aware of the truth and then killed it by discrediting the people who were speaking it. It got me wondering how often this happens in real life. I mean it would be so easy to do. Like for example JFK, Roswell, 911, all the huge big things people argue about till this day. And anything else that falls into that category. Just seems very intriguing to me how easy it is to squash the truth by speaking the truth and then having those who speak it discredited. What do you all think?
