Hey everyone,
I know that I'm a little late to the game (I heard about Club Bing for the first time last September), but I was wondering if anyone is still botting Club Bing.
I had been using DeCaptcher for a while and then decided to start building a database of cats/dogs that were solved with DeCaptcher in hopes of being able to solve future duplicate images on my own.
I know that this seems to have been done in the past with DeClaw/DeCat(?) but neither of those services seem to still be around. I've developed a database which can identify duplicate images to a decent degree, even with rotated/distorted duplicates, and I've been populating it over the past couple of days as I bot.
I guess I have a couple of questions; how did DeClaw/DeCat work (did it just compare image hashes from the filename and/or a MD5 hash of the actual file, did it do image analysis to detect duplicates, or did it actually have logic in determining whether an image was a cat or a dog?), and, is anyone who's still botting bing interested in this idea? Also, DeCaptcher has been overloaded/unresponsive over the past couple of weeks; does anyone know if they'll be coming back?
P.S. Sorry if I've asked previously answered questions.. I spent a while reading the forums and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for so I figure I'd post a new topic. My apologies in advance for being a noob!
