Maybe I am just like old.. But what exactly is a trainer?

basically how you use to type in a cheat code back in the day , but most games today don't have cheat codes so people make them themselfs. it "trains" the game to cheat , people on this forum mind not find it as useful but who knows?

i tried it the way you discribed and it didnt work but i think you their website is down and got a http error. btw i tried it with his dead island trainer it has a different validation screen than the halo one you used.

probably because you did not copy the host file to the directory like it says in the readme , it does not matter which validation screen currently it works for both of them
