As some of you may know there have been a couple people that joined attempting to scam people on trades and buying accounts and that type of thing.
Unfortunately that is kind of the nature of some of the people on this type of site. Below are some suggestions to hopefully reduce the risk.
#1: Before making any trade with someone you don't completely trust, ask an Admin to check their IP. IF they had other accounts with that IP we can see it and see and see if/why they were banned.
#2: Mods/Admins can hold things like CL accounts or whatever as collateral until a trade is complete, or act as a middle man.
#3: post a thread about your trade before you do it. List what the trade is, all details and things like that. Then make sure you both post in there that you both agree. That way it is public and there won't be any misunderstandings. Treat is like a contract. It also will help mods/admins figure out who is right or wrong if there is a conflict.
#4: If/when you have a positive or negative trading experience post that in a thread so people will have a history of good or bad trades.
TrueCheaters can not be responsible for all its members, but I'll be happy to help in any way I can.
Trade safe!
