drop shipping from a promo company was not a good idea..
You have to be careful with Ebay, their buyer protection really puts seller's in a tough spot. Exceeding 7-10 days for any shipment to the US is pushing it

So why exactly did you lose the dispute then? If anything it seems like its at the buyer's discretion - unfair as that may be. People are impatient which is why I still suggest to never exceed 10 days regardless of policies

Yeah, I think I will just stop using eBay from now on. This isn't the first time I've got screwed, but it is the most annoying. Because of this my bank account got overdrawn and I got charged fees for that and then eBay took out the fees for the sale and I went more overdrawn and got charged more fees. I now owe the bank about $200 and owe PayPal almost $400. If this hadn't happened I'd be in the positive by about $40-$50.

Exactly. I think 10 days is too long myself. I would definitely have done a chargeback/dispute if I did not receive a tracking number within a week. Maybe that is why I skip ebay and buy from regular companies, so I don't have to deal with slowness

after my recent dealings with ebay I too have stopped using them. (I MAY still buy on there, but I for sure will never sell on there again)

I had a $1000 NFLShop.com gift certificate for sale on there and in my listing I noted that to make sure the buyer gets the code faster, I would both email the code and send the actual letter containing the code via usps registered mail. The auction actually had bids up to $725 with only 2 days remaining and ebay cancelled the auction because:
    1) the code was going to be sent via email
    2) the value of the certificate was over $500 o.O wtf!

I contacted the buyer right after the sale informing him that it was coming from another company and that it might take a while, but I would keep him informed.

That sucks, but I would have preferred them to cancel my sell over this.
